Your New Role
We have multiple Sports Social Media internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for all internship opportunities within this area. These internships will be located in the NYC area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule.
This could include, but is not limited to:

BR Gaming Social Media Intern
Social Content Intern
Bleacher Report Social Media Intern
Social Programming Intern
Your Role Accountabilities
Duties could include:
Contribute to the daily programming of HoH social channels
Discover and curate social content that aligns with the House of Highlight brand pillars and engages with the Gen Z audience
Cover full slates of sports programming schedule, from MLS to MLB to College Sports.
Be a master of finding UGC and new content before the competitive set
Work closely with other programmers to check copy and properly distribute content
Creating graphics for publishing to B/R’s platforms
Communicating with sports teams and fans about using their content with credit
Organizing and updating playlists (TikTok and YouTube)
ID breaking news article to publish on Facebook
Brainstorming content ideas with the team
Attending B/R programming team meetings
Potentially publishing directly
Qualifications & Experience
Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)
ANY sports experience (class, job, student media, sports page, etc.)
Passionate interest in sports
Editing/Content creation or social media production experience a plus. Managing and growing your own YT/TKT/IG channel a plus
Superb organizational and communications skills
Knowledge and understanding of Adobe Premiere
Photoshop and web publishing skills also a plus
Real familiarity with House of Highlights, Creator League, and Broadcast Boys.
Requirements
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
Must be a rising Junior or Senior undergrad student (18 years or older)
Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA). A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended. <
