About the role

STV is seeking an Electrical Engineering Specialist for the Engineering Group in the Los Angeles market.

Responsibilities:

Assist senior engineers on their projects and take the lead on his/her own projects under the review and supervision of the manager of electrical engineering to perform the following project related efforts:

  • Develop designs using Revit and/or Auto CAD for power, lighting and fire alarm systems

  • Size and specify electrical equipment/systems

  • Performs electrical calculations using specialized engineering software

Lighting

  • Short-circuit analyses

  • Protective device coordination studies

  • Arc Flash Analysis

  • Develop reports and specifications, utilizing Micro Office Suite

  • Proposal development

  • Field surveys and documents existing conditions.

  • Mentor electrical engineers working on his projects

  • Assist other senior engineers on their projects as needed

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Experience: 5 years minimum relevant experience including Revit and/or Auto CAD as an electrical engineering.

  • Registration: California PE License Required

Compensation Range:

$85,434.00 - $113,912.00
