Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a First Line Manufacturing Manager to support the F/A-18 Forward Install team in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

·         3+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

·         3+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

·         3+ years’ experience working with or supporting military aircraft

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

·         Bachelor’s degree or higher

·         Experience with LEAN and 5S activities

·         Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees

Summary pay range: $111,350-$150,650 USD
