We are hiring a Small Group Employment Coordinator to coordinate services for individuals participating in our Small Group Employment services. This position will cultivate and maintain a work atmosphere at several offsite locations that is motivating, challenging, and value-based to assure achievement of the agency mission.

Job Functions:
- Oversee one of Via's Small Group Employment sites Cigar International’s participant production and quality improvement process.
- Oversee participant attendance and tracking system.
- Oversee the completion of participant performance reviews for the Small Group Employment Department.
- Maintain inventory of supplies within the department.
- Provide coverage support at Cigars and other Small Group Employment sites as needed.
- Act as the primary contact for transportation issues for participants working at Cigars International.
- Maintain presence at both Via’s Spruce Street location and at Cigars International.
- Provide case management to participants of Small Group Employment opportunities including facilitating team meetings, completing required reports and completing weekly billing.
- Ensure funding authorizations and Individual Service Plans are accurate and being delivered as directed, all authorized services are being delivered and billed to maximize authorized units.
- Monitor the accuracy of agency database contacts and documentation for records.
- Act as a liaison with internal and external customers such as: employer sites, individuals, families, team members, county officials, and other service providers.
- Work in conjunction with Community Connections and Pre-Vocational Program Managers to ensure ongoing transition of participants to small group opportunities.
- Complete job analysis as needed to develop and implement effective training plans for participants.
- Identify existing natural supports and develop additional supports on the site to assist individuals in maintaining employment, increasing community involvement, and relationship development.
- Continually assist in identifying and recommending changes in work methods to improve effectiveness and efficiency at each site.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Work in both facility and community settings. Standing, sitting, lifting, and walking required daily. Traveling in the community is required. Must be flexible and able to adapt to a variety of facility and community work environments.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field.
- Minimum 1-year experience working in related field within community settings.
- ACRE or CESP certification.
- OSHA training certification
- Team player, self-motivator and independent worker.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings and function in an ever-changing environment.
- Ability to exercise discretionary judgment and handle difficult situations calmly, graciously and constructively.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using computers and related software including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Must have personal vehicle, valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance.
