R&D Team Execution Manager

About the Role

As the R&D Execution Manager in our Enterprise SaaS business, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient execution of R&D projects and processes. Your primary role involves managing the standing team operating system, including the implementation and optimization of tools like Jira for project management. You will be pivotal in establishing consistent processes and best practices across the R&D teams, contributing significantly to the overall productivity and success of our R&D operations.

What You Will Do

• Operational System Management: Oversee and manage the standing team operating system, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the R&D organization.
• Tool Implementation and Optimization: Implement and optimize tools like Jira to facilitate project management, sprint planning, and standups across R&D teams.
• Process Standardization: Develop and enforce standardized processes and best practices for project execution within the R&D teams.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with R&D teams to understand their needs and challenges, providing support and solutions to optimize their project execution.
• Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Track key metrics, such as the percentage of teams using consistent processes, and continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of R&D execution.
• Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to R&D teams on the use of project management tools and adherence to standardized processes.

Must Haves

• Proven experience in project or operations management, preferably within an R&D or technical environment.
• Strong expertise in using project management tools, particularly Jira or similar platforms.
• Excellent organizational and process management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
