About the Role and Program

The Learning & Talent Solutions Center of Excellence (COE) Team is responsible for the development, management and continuous improvement of Education Programs, Business Office, and Enterprise Career Development.  This includes creating and implementing strategy for education programs and career development experiences within The Walt Disney Company.  We also collaborate with key internal and external partners to lead and administer the programs.

We are looking for two (2) experienced individuals with an analytical mind-set and a passion for events, education, career development, operations, and efficiency. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who will ensure that the Disney standards are reflected consistently across all efforts.

This role offers two internship opportunities: one based in the Orlando, FL area and the other in the Anaheim, CA area. Both positions are full-time, six-month internships running from June 2025 to January 2026.

What You Will Do:

In this exciting and fast-paced changing environment, your ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of event planning, while assisting with the daily operations and administrative tasks for Career Development and Disney Aspire is critical. This position requires a high level of integrity fueled by your ability to be a self-starter, resourceful, overcome hurdles, think outside the box and build long-term relationships with others to accomplish goals.

As a Career Development & Education Programs Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Support day-to-day operations of event efforts including planning, tracking, and logistics

  • Manage, replenish and track collateral inventory and resources

  • Support new event development, planning and execution

  • Assist with daily operations including but not limited to communications, website administration, Disney Aspire Advocate support, issue resolution support, presentations and other critical administrative tasks

  • Be part of a team that continually challenges themselves to undergo constant evolution within our operational processes

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Outstanding attention to detail and ownership of tasks and deliverables; able to handle confidential information in a professional manner

  • Able to pivot in tasks and work independently while supporting a team environment in a fast-paced setting

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel: v-lookups); Spreadsheets and tracking qualitative and quantitative data; Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign

  • Strong partnering, networking and relationship building skills along with oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent project management skills; Able to balance multiple projects and delegate tasks

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with and/or a graduate of the Disney Aspire Program

  • Event knowledge and experience such as logistical planning, creating marketing materials, volunteer scheduling, event set-up and breakdown, day-of monitoring, etc.

  • Spanish fluency/ Haitian Creole fluency

  • Interest in developing creative writing skills, presentation and facilitation skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Access, Salesforce, SmartSheets

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Human Resources, Project Management, Training and Development, Business, Communications, Creative Writing, Organizational Management, or other related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. 

    • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
