Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technologist for Northside Hospital’s Choice + Program operates the ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED: 

Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Sonography (AART( (S), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), when in the Cardiac Department Only.

Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Must meet competency level requirements for the Choice+ Program.

PREFERRED: 

Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.

Prior experience in ultrasound.

Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with two (2) years cardiac related experience

Registered Vascular Technologist with two (2) years vascular related experience

A minimum of one (1) year of travel experience with an external or internal agency program (excluding float pools).
