Job Description

RN, Educators are responsible for the following: 

 

  • Serves as a role model/mentor for students and other staff. 

  • Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice. 

  • Participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination. 

 

As an RN, Educator you will apply nursing theory, education, and research in order to coordinate nursing education programs. You will also collaborate with Education Specialists to plan, coordinate, and evaluate programs that are directed toward achieving and maintaining competencies of nursing personnel. Qualifications include: 

 

  • Licensure to practice as a RN in Pennsylvania 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required 

  • 5 years of nursing experience, preferably at TJUH
