Manager/Assistant Manager of Business Planning and Strategy

POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager/Assistant Manager of Business Planning and Strategy is responsible for establishing and managing strategies, goals, and performance, and driving operations and business through Direct to customer business of Solar and Battery systems in the Residential segment. This position reports to the Head of the Operations or another member of senior management that the President of the Company may designate and will require travel of up to 20%. The candidate will be based out of our San Francisco, California.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in capitalizing on Axia Solar’s existing Direct to customer solar business to identify and manage;
• Research and analysis of PV market trends and customers including competitive landscape
• Setting and managing Business goals for the sales along with KPI 
• Monitoring and supervising overall sales performance and in-depth data analysis
• Managing Sales and Operations data including revenue forecast (weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts)
• Developing hypotheses, and performing the data analysis to back them up
• Supporting Management decisions with internal and external research and analysis
• Deep analysis and comprehension of current customer, product, and market dynamics and needs; this is a critical function of the overall Q CELLS strategy in North America
• Be prepared to assist with all communications with Hanwha Q CELLS headquarters, sales entities and manufacturing facilities in the following locations:
• Sales Entities: Canada, Korea, Germany, Japan, and some others
• Manufacturing Facilities: US (GA), Korea, Malaysia and China
• Assist with strategic planning for market expansion and area development in conjunction with the other departments ;
• Collaborate with the Sales and/or Business Development teams to expand the business area for new commercial and new channels.
• All other duties as assigned by the Head of C&I Module Sales or upper management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Korean speaking and writing capability perferred
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Data analysis-related experience preferred
• Advanced level of computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
• Strong, professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in meetings, calls, presentations and email
• Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time
• Ability to identify and develop key strategic partnerships
• Must be comfortable interfacing outside the company, including executive presentations, negotiations, and contractual review
• Must be self-motivated, creative, and possess strategic planning skills
• High degree of professionalism and conduct

*CA Target Salary Range: $100000 - $150000 / yearThe salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties & requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. *This target salary range is for CA positions only and should not be interpreted as an offer of compensation
