The work
As a Data Science Project Manager you will lead strategic planning and coordination for enterprise-level data initiatives. You will oversee the development of a comprehensive data strategy, a data governance framework, organizational change management plans, and the establishment of a scalable data science environment.
Responsibilities
• Partner with stakeholders to lead a full data inventory effort
• Drive the development of data strategy and governance plans
• Guide organizational change management activities
What you need
• 8 years of experience managing federal projects
• Proven experience integrating data science into federal programs
• Strong understanding of AI policy, governance, and ethics
• Experience leading cross‑sector collaboration and long-term strategic planning
• Ability to translate between technical and policy domains to enable mission success
Bonus if you have
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience leading intelligence-focused programs
• Strength in connecting technical solutions with policy and mission needs
Clearance
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
