Qualtrics is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Workflows team to help deliver on the ambitious roadmap for the next generation platform for omni-channel data  and workflow orchestrations. Things You’ll Do

  • Focus on the development of cloud computing infrastructure at Qualtrics, and help build, distribute, scale and optimize these technologies
  • Develop scalable, robust, and highly available micro services related to our platform
  • Implement large features that typically span multiple months and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance
  • Actively mentor junior engineers.
  • Define and be accountable for standards and processes that ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from other specialists, tech-ops, and product managers
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers.
  • You will ensure our platform exceeds goals for availability, capacity, efficiency, scalability, and performance
  • You will dedicatedly monitor end-to-end system performance to identify bottlenecks, potential failures and deliver service capacity planning and demand forecasting.
  • You will communicate w/ engineers & partners and describe problems succinctly to enable issue management

 

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale software systems.
  • You have a strong background and technical capabilities in object oriented design and development with languages such as; Java, .NET. C#, Python, Ruby, C++ etc.
  • Experience building, owning and operating highly scalable, highly available internet facing software services. AWS experience desired.
