Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Responsible for controlling the flow of materials throughout the production process.  Will monitor and track all order to completion.

Job Responsibilities

• Lift up to 50 lbs.; from ground to wait frequently, from ground to shoulders occasionally, from ground to overhead seldom.
• Requires operating overhead cranes, large band saws, and stenciling heavy pieces of bar stock.
• Position requires twisting /turning /bending /squatting /stooping /pushing /pulling /gripping /grasping up to 50 lbs., climbing stairs, and repetitive motion.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, control plans, routers, job instructions and measurement tools.

• Could be responsible for closing out all work orders after operations are complete.

• Will be responsible for moving material away from the machine/cell and delivering to the next area per router information.

• Promotes cooperation and "team oriented" work environment at all times under the direction of the leadership.

Background & Skills

• High School Degree or GED
•  Math skills to calculate pieces per bar and weight per piece, and various other calculations.
•  Must be able to handle heavy lifting
• Must be able to lift up to 50lb frequently
•  Ability to multitask including operating forklift, hoist, cutting, and MFG Pro
