Position: Senior Admissions Manager
Location: Denver, CO (This is an onsite position)
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5:30pm MST
Compensation: $75,000-95,000 Annual Salary + Incentives
About The Role
The Senior Admissions Manager will be responsible for managing a minimum of 10 admissions coordinators, and depending on team size, will jump into Admissions call queue as needed. This role encompasses all the responsibilities of an admissions Manager, with additional duties aimed at enhancing team performance, partnering and training new managers who onboard, fostering departmental growth, and supporting higher-level initiatives. The Senior Admissions Manager will work closely with the Director of Admissions in supervision sessions, 1:1 coaching, and special projects. They will serve as a key resource and leader within the admissions department, providing mentorship and support to their peers and direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management & Development:
- Implement performance improvement plans and diagnose problem areas for their respective team
- Ensure all team members maintain up-to-date knowledge of all services and product lines available at Sandstone Care
- Maintain required phone coverage based on the number of direct reports
- Ensure team members adhere to all policies, procedures, and workflows of the department
- Conduct weekly 1:1 supervision, coaching, and performance management of all direct reports
- Assist with the scheduling, hiring, and retention of all personnel within the admissions department
- Maintain and develop a strong culture within the admissions department
- Ensure compliance with external regulations and internal policies
- Assess and report progress in meeting department objectives
- Mentorship and Leadership:
- Provide mentorship and support to Admissions Managers and coordinators, sharing best practices and insights
- Lead by example in professionalism, work ethic, and adherence to policies
- Special Projects & Initiatives:
- Collaborate with the Director of Admissions on special projects aimed at improving department processes and performance
- Lead initiatives to enhance team efficiency, client satisfaction, and overall departmental success
- Training and Development:
- Develop and facilitate advanced training sessions for Admissions Managers and coordinators
- Identify opportunities for professional development and growth within the team
- Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Contribute to the strategic planning and goal-setting process for the admissions department
- Provide detailed reports and analyses on team performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- This role will also include additional responsibilities aligned with the company's and department's strategic initiatives. The duties and responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive.
Education Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing and/or behavioral health science is strongly preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven successful experience working in a call center environment within the behavioral health treatment realm
- Preferred experience with substance abuse treatment, especially in detox, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and/or intensive outpatient (IOP) settings
- Strong competence with multiple computer systems required: CRM (Salesforce), Billing Softw
