About the role

Description

General Summary

The Customer Care Associate provides service and support to King & Prince Seafood customers by processing orders, resolving issues and managing accounts receivables.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days/week in office.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Enters data for sales orders
  • Web (portal) based/ERP based revision of sales orders
  • Resolves sales order EDI problems. 
  • Investigates reported mis-shipments
  • Ensures release of all outside warehouse orders after credit approval process is completed
  • Confirms all sales orders to brokers and distributors via fax, electronic, or EDI notification
  • Initiates return authorizations and submits for approval
  • Prepares export documentation and notification of USDC inspected product requirements
  • Handles broker, distributor and customer calls
  • Responds to requests from Sales team
  • Participates in cost saving and process improvement initiatives 
  • Understands and complies with relevant policies and procedures
  • Invoices delivery by email/fax for all non-EDI customers 
  • Investigates all OS&D issues working closely with Logistics/Customer Finance 
  • Updates Discovery SDS Sales reporting system 

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Professionalism and excellent customer service skills
  • MS Office proficiency 
  • Attention to detail
  • ERP skills; accounts receivable and inventory management software experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Planning and organizational skills
