Overview:

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a RN Traveler for their Stepdown IMCU & Med-Surg floor!   

This is a Temporary Full Time Night Shift Position.  
$70 per hour

Department/Position Overview: This is a 34 bed unit with 17 for Med Surg and 17 for Intermediate Care Unit. The Nurse: Patient Ratio is 1:4 for IMCU and 1:6 for Med./Surg, Patient Population: Trauma/Burns, Orthopedic Trauma, Neurosurgery. The Registered Nurse will work in a collaborative role as part of a team to maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice, in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families, and the community.

Education

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS

Experience

Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
