Position Summary

The Senior Director/ ED, Global Data Analytics & AI will establish BioNTech’s Global commercial data analytics, digital and AI capabilities for its multiple upcoming global launches in Oncology. This person will build and lead the best-in-class high-performing team with great visibility to the senior leadership. It is a player-coach role where this leader will personally drive the data analytics & AI strategy and data governance, while leading their team members.

 

What you have to offer:

• Lead the team that will build Global commercial data analytics and AI capabilities for the company
• Evaluate, acquire, ingest, integrate, QC and steward the right data
• Build Global data platforms such as data hub, MDM and oversee data operations
• Generate insights from commercial, market access and RWE data using dashboards as well as descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics
• Establish generative AI for commercial use cases
• Personally develop business questions-based data analytics strategy and data governance
• Work closely with Global Commercial, Global Market Access, IT, as well as US, Germany and other affiliates to understand business needs and develop solutions
• Communicate business impact effectively to senior leadership

Requirements:

• 15+ years of data analytics experience
• 5+ years of Oncology commercial data analytics experience, including drug launches
• Experience with Oncology commercial datasets, data analytics strategy, data governance, launches, building of data platforms, MDM, commercial analytics, sales force effectiveness, omnichannel, RWE
• Experience working closely with commercial teams
• Demonstrated leadership experience
