Role and Responsibilities 

• Primarily serve as a quality assurance software tester 
• Reviewing requirements and/or user stories to develop and execute test cases, scenarios and/or scripts 
• Document and report test outcomes, including logging bugs or defects 
• Develop a test plan, monitor and report progress, and identify and manage dependencies 
• Testing all aspects of application components for compliance with the provided specifications and user stories. Ex: usability, functionality, exploratory, system, smoke, monkey, and compatibility testing 
• Coordinate test activities, including technical and security testing, with other team members and OTS verticals 
• Provide technical/non-technical knowledge transfer of testing processes. 
• Develop and/or assist with project work plans, timelines, status reports, release notes, and other documentation; disseminate information as needed. 
• Participates in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.

Minimum Qualification

• Three (3) years of experience with quality assurance testing of application software using varied testing methodologies 
• Three (3) years of experience in developing, identifying and validating appropriate test scripts and test data that ensures software functionality meets end user expectation 

• Relevant software QA certifications 
• Prior experience documenting user stories or gathering requirements from stakeholders 
• Prior experience creating user guide or onboarding materials 
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops 

Preferred Qualification

• Previous work on a dynamic SCRUM team.

• Prior experience as a Business Analysts or Product Owner
