About the Role:

As a Frontend Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will work with a talented and dedicated team to build and maintain the user interface for the GenAI Hub. You will provide a high-quality user experience that our internal customers use to leverage Generative AI to protect our customers from the most sophisticated adversaries.

About the Team:

CrowdStrike has pioneered the use of artificial intelligence (AI) since we first introduced AI-powered protection to replace signature-based antivirus over 10 years ago, and we’ve continued to deeply integrate it across our platform since.

You will be part of a newly formed GenAI Platform team, with the mission of enabling large-scale production usage of Generative AI across the company. You will work to build a robust and intuitive platform used by data scientists, engineers, product managers etc. to solve new and exciting challenges in the space of Large Language Models.

One of the biggest customers for this platform is Charlotte AI, a first of its type offering empowering users of all skill levels to leverage the data available in the Falcon Platform, while reducing security operations complexity and cost.

What You’ll Do:

• Hands on building single page applications using React or equivalent modern frameworks

• You’ll leverage your technical expertise to help the team sound decisions around engineering, product direction and design

• Take initiative and build tools that improve your teams’ development experience

• Write automated tests for your code

• Collaborate with fellow UX Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists and others

• Continually learn about the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry

• Have fun solving hard problems

What You’ll Need:

• A good understanding of JavaScript and experience building web application user interfaces with modern frameworks such as Ember, React, Angular, or Vue.

• Strong HTML & CSS skills, including experience with CSS pre- or post-processors (like Sass or PostCSS) and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS

• Experience with testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as QUnit or Mocha

• Knowledge & interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces.

• Comfortable with Git or similar version control systems and workflows.

• A desire to work closely with others to deliver quality software and solve problems.

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with client-side build processes and tools (e.g. Ember CLI, Webpack, etc.)

• Experience in the GenAI/LLM space.

• Experience creating or contributing to open-source projects.

• Experience with graphics and visualization tools such as D3 or Three.js.

• Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization.
