<p>As a key growth accelerator, A11 partners with Europe’s most ambitious startups and scaleups, corporates and SMBs to connect them with top-tier talent ready to make an impact. </p> <p>Recently, we've paired with one of <a href="https://www.project-a.vc/">Project A</a>'s newest seed-stage investments to build their Tech Team and are looking for a <strong>Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d) </strong>with extensive experience building scalable and robust software solutions in Python to join their Team. </p> <p>This is your chance to join an early stage startup that's well on its way to becoming a global category leader! </p> <p><strong>Join the A11 Ecosystem:</strong> a German-based startup that’s harnessing AI technologies to improve working capital and create circular supply chains for industrial manufacturing companies.  </p> <h2><strong>In this role, you’ll:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and optimize secure, reliable, and high-performance backend systems that form the core of our client's product</li> <li>Collaborate with Product and Data teams to design, build, and deploy features that delight users and address real customer needs</li> <li>Architect and implement large-scale, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using modern best practices</li> <li>Build on cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS) to ensure a robust and scalable backend</li> <li>Take ownership of DevOps pipelines to enhance deployment workflows, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency</li> <li>Stay on top of technology trends and tools, ensuring our product evolves with customer demands</li> </ul> <p><strong>Current stack:</strong></p> <p>• <strong>Cloud:</strong> AWS</p> <p>• <strong>Backend:</strong> Python, FastAPI</p> <p>• <strong>Data:</strong> Postgres, Neo4J</p> <p>• <strong>Infrastructure:</strong> Kubernetes and Terraform</p> <h2><strong>Your Profile</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Backend Development Expertise: 5+ years of experience with a strong focus on Python development and designing robust backend systems.</li> <li>Scalable Architecture: Proven track record of designing and building large-scale, high-performance web applications and cloud-based services.</li> <li>Collaboration &amp; Drive: Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.</li> <li>Languages: Strong communication skills in English (German business fluency is preferred) </li> <li>Data Engineering Knowledge: Familiarity with data pipelines, modeling, and analytics is a plus.
