Financial Analyst - DPS

What does a successful Financial Analyst do? A successful Financial Analyst at Fiserv thrives on transforming data into strategic decisions, having a direct impact on our Digital Payments Solutions Finance team. This role entails quickly grasping an $85M business segment, identifying key financial drivers, and leveraging this knowledge to drive impactful financial analyses that enhance leadership decision-making. You will collaborate with the leadership team, contributing to strategies that foster profitable business growth and margin improvement.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate, manage, and complete established financial processes for the product segment, including monthly close, forecast, annual budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Provide insights into monthly forecast decisions and related reporting, articulating the drivers of proposed forecast changes and the associated risks and opportunities.
  • Review historical sales by financial institution and product to understand conversion to revenue, implementation timeline, and overall impact on business growth.
  • Create client-level profitability analyses to identify common trends and partner with the business to implement meaningful changes to boost profitability.
  • Execute quantitative analyses and use sound business judgment to build relationships with key stakeholders and peers across the business.
  • Assist in the creation of new reporting/dashboards and other data-driven insights to complement P&L projections and fuel business results.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or equivalent military experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis and data interpretation.
  • Experience supporting P&L projections and financial reporting.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience working in a technology company.
  • Experience with SAP and Power BI.

Important information about this role:

  • This role is on-site in Alpharetta, GA Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
