What We Do

Senior Linux Systems Administrator 

 

We are hiring a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to manage our 700+ Linux servers. The candidate should have experience with large-scale enterprise deployments, and will ensure compliance, security, and efficient operation using Ansible, Rundeck and ManageEngine tools. 

*This is a remote role* 

 

What You’ll Do: 

• Design, implement, and manage our configuration management tools (i.e. Rundeck, ManageEngine) to ensure secure and efficient server management across the organization. 

• Develop and maintain policies, configurations, and compliance standards for Linux servers. 

• Create and manage server configuration profiles, applications, and updates to maintain a consistent user experience and ensure software is up-to-date. 

• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to server builds, application deployment, and policy compliance. 

• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive server management strategy, incorporating best practices and industry standards. 

• Assist in developing & maintaining documentation related to Rundeck and ManageEngine configurations, policies, and procedures. 

• Up to 10% travel.  

What You’ll Bring: 

• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems administration. 

• Strong experience in managing Linux servers using configuration management tools including Ansible, Rundeck and ManageEngine (or other related technologies). 

• Familiarity with scripting languages including Bash, Shell, Python or similar. 

• Knowledge of security hardening practices using CIS security standards. 

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
