AW Health Care has all this and more and invites experienced, dedicated and compassionate CNAs and Caregivers to apply to our hourly positions for St Charles, Warren and Lincoln County Communities. 

*Immediate Need for the O'Fallon and St Peter's, Mo areas. Multiple clients available for afternoon shifts ranging from 12:00pm to 4:30pm, 2-4 hour shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  Must have clean background, valid driver's license, personal vehicle with full coverage auto insurance.   

Job Summary:

The CNA or Caregiver provides personal hygiene care, housekeeping, meal prep, med reminders, laundry, bed linen changes, companionship and a safe environment to clients. **Priority will be given to applicants that are skilled in transferring and lifting patients safely and it is required to have a valid driver's license, your own reliable car and car insurance.

Requirements

CNA/Caregiver Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid driver's license, your own personal, reliable vehicle with full coverage auto insurance and be able to independently access client’s residence and perform client transportation and errands if requested.
• Must have at least six months to one year paid work experience working with the geriatric population or similar care and responsibilities.
• Working with clients with Dementia and Alzheimer's is preferred.
• Ability to work with pets and smokers in client homes, preferred
• Ability to use Gait belt and Hoyer Lift preferred
• Must maintain required yearly training/education as mandated by agency

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to participate in physical activity.
• Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
• Moderate lifting.
• Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
