Night Shift Supervisor RN/LPN

Cura of Watkins (CMS 5 star rated facility!) is looking for a dedicated and passionate Night Shift Supervisor (RN/LPN) to lead our overnight nursing team. In this leadership role, you will oversee patient care and staff management during the night shift, ensuring that the highest standards of nursing practice are met. The ideal candidate is a compassionate nurse with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to promoting a safe, supportive, and efficient healthcare setting. This position is currently Full-time: 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, 3 shifts a week, or 64 hours a pay period. Night shift staff earn an extra $4.00 an hour on top of their base pay.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during the night shift to ensure quality patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and intervene as necessary to maintain safety and comfort.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to nursing staff as needed.
• Facilitate communication between night shift staff and day shift management.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in managing workflow to optimize efficiency.
• Document and report significant incidents and patient care updates promptly.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership nursing role, preferably during night shifts.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions overnight.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and team collaboration.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
