Why This Role Is Valuable
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Manager of Corporate Accounting to join our Corporate Finance team at Revantage. This accomplished manager-level professional will be responsible for overseeing the monthly close process for a new Blackstone portfolio company, Brio Real Estate LLC (“BRIO”), which is a commercial real estate services platform that supports Blackstone’s Real Estate Debt Strategies (“BREDS”) investments across the globe. In addition, this person will manage the portfolio company relationship with leaders from BRIO, calculate and allocate expenses to portfolio companies with a responsibility of ensuring accuracy during the recharge process, and assist with the preparation of financial data for both internal management and external parties including Blackstone. They will supervise and develop a mix of onshore and offshore indirect reports as well as assist their leadership in other corporate accounting responsibilities, when necessary. This role will be hybrid and based in our Dallas office.
How You Add Value
Client Service
- Provide excellent customer service to the leadership team of BRIO ensuring that their information needs and reporting requirements are met while supplying financial recommendations and solutions, when necessary.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with department leaders, building trust while overseeing their accounting operations.
Corporate Finance
- Manage the monthly close process for BRIO ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Produce and/or review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and budget to actual variance analysis.
- Oversee and review monthly reconciliations for corporate accounts and corporate workpapers.
- Collaborate with multiple departments within the organization to help manage the recharge process including time tracking, coding, billing, collections, analysis, and reporting.
- Subject matter expert for cost allocations and associated systems and processes.
- Maintain and adhere to existing accounting policies and assist in the development and implementation of new policies.
- Train, supervise, develop, and review the work of one or more indirect reports both onshore and offshore.
- Manage established accounting deadlines.
- Assist with in-house training programs
