About the role

Purpose and Job Summary

ORIX USA (“ORIX”) is seeking to hire a Business Transformation Senior Associate in our Dallas, Texas office. This individual is responsible for the execution of various mid-level to large-scale transformation projects – including the people, policy, and process change cycles as an enterprise change management practitioner. In this position, the experienced professional is expected to understand complex business concepts and support coordination with stakeholders across all levels to rethink, redesign, and deploy key processes and assist in driving maximized stakeholder organizational change adoption. This role is also responsible for supporting the daily management of operational tasks, ensuring the implementation and adherence to standards and leading practices for communication, documentation, and execution. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work cross-departmentally to gain insights into opportunities for improvement and work with the Business Transformation team to translate those into actionable tasks
  • Ability to understand and synthesize complex business challenges and operations
  • Rethink and redesign processes for various functions, including but not limited to accounting, treasury, tax, internal audit, operations, human resources, and legal
  • Prioritize and execute assignments meeting critical and established deadlines while demonstrating ability to manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously
  • Ensure all stakeholders are kept well informed
  • Execute enterprise change management plans including facilitating stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments, business readiness assessments, communications, and training development
  • Prepare and provide collaborative guidance to BT team members when documenting current state process flows and catalogs to assist in the identification of inefficiencies and pain points
  • Prepare and provide collaborative guidance to BT team members when documenting future state process flows and related training content to ensure proper adoption of new processes
  • Analyze policies and procedures and control matrices for enterprise-wide standardization and rationalization
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively execute with a large amount of creativity and latitude
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers
  • Complete other projects and duties as assigned

Stakeholders

This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors.

Education, Skills & Experience

Required

  • A bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration in economics, accounting, or finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive operational process transformation experience, preferably with a nationally recognized consulting or Big 4 public accounting firm
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
  • Superb writing skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate concepts and create well-structured messages
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter and highly motivated, with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently as part of a high-performance team
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; Ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment
  • Strong Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Preferred

  • Master’s in business administration or CPA or CIA designation
  • Experience in Organizational Change Management (i.e., certified change practitioner, CCMP)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Experience in large-scale strategic/process transformation and/or enterprise system implementation team
