Packaging Supervisor (1st Shift @ 7am - 3:30pm)

Perricone Juices (aka Perricone Farms), a leading citrus juice supplier located in Beaumont, CA, is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to join our team. Pay Rate: $66,560 - $70,000 annually

Shift / Hours: (2nd Shift) Mon – Fri @ 7am to 3:30pm, possible weekend work (If needed)

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Supervisor to oversee the activities of our packaging department(s). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently, resulting in the packaging of high-quality products. Under the guidance of the Production Manager the Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for executing the daily packaging plan to include coordinating all manufacturing activities and supervising subordinate technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review daily packaging plan and coordinate the activities of technicians to execute plan.
• In collaboration with Production Managers, establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure packaging and quality of products meet specifications.
• Review packaging and operating reports to identify areas of improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Ensure that all safety and quality standards are met and that all packaging processes are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage and supervise subordinate technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of 3 years experience in a packaging management capacity. Alternatively, candidates may possess a High School diploma/GED with 5 years of demonstrated leadership responsibilities in a manufacturing setting.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in manufacturing engineering; AND two years’ experience in the juice processing industry or related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
