About the role
Job Description Summary
The Senior Sourcing Lean Leader is responsible to drive operational excellence across the Blade Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is responsible to lead the development and execution of supply chain lean strategy to improve quality and output performance across the Blade CoE supply base. You will achieve tangible business outcome through the applicable of lean principles at tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop a winning lean vision and strategy across the Blade CoE supply base, including external blade manufacturers and raw materials which are purchased for internal blade manufacturing
- Drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, supplier lead-time, on-time delivery and product cost. Support suppliers in developing value stream maps and eliminating process waste through the application & implementation of lean techniques
- Deploy & operationalize Lean/MOREWIND broadly across the COE, thereby reducing waste and driving efficiencies
- Collaborate with the cross functional blade team to prioritize projects focused on critical business KPIs
- Partner with key stakeholders including engineering, sourcing quality, blade commodity staff managers, product line, and projects team to assess business needs and define projects
- Communicate difficult concepts and use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commodity Management, or Product Management.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, estimated at 50%.

- Demonstrated commitment for process improvement Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent Lean certification
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers to deliver successful outcomes for internal stakeholders and the customer

- Demonstrated ability to influence others, drive change, and align teams to success
- Ability to work cross functionally to drive results
