Scope of Position

This highly motivated individual, as part of the Maintenance Team, will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment and facility.

This position reports to Maintenance Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs or replaces equipment.
• Handles system and/or equipment element installations.
• Performs regular preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
• Carries out a variety of work in the maintenance of the building
• Supports recycling or trash pickup as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Company Management
• Responsibility directly tied to Watts Values Accountability, and Continuous Improvement

Required Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in general maintenance
• Or technical training in lieu of experience
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the performance of basic maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skill in reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Skill in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Must be multi-task oriented and able to work on several ongoing projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Fort Worth location in Texas. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
• Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
