Assembly Lead

Description

Assembly lead is responsible for overseeing the hands-on assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic, and other fluid power components. This role focuses on applying in-depth technical knowledge to ensure the proper assembly, testing, and quality control of fluid power systems and products. The Assembly Lead is a subject matter expert, providing technical support and ensuring that assembly procedures are followed precisely while maintaining product integrity.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Optimizing assembly efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
• Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
• Performing recordkeeping tasks, including inventory management and order tracking.
• Training new assembly workers.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time.
• Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five years' assembly experience in a related industry.
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards.
• Proficiency in computers and office software.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent problem-solving techniques.
