What’s in Store
We're on the lookout for a Triage Supervisor to join our growing team! As a Triage Supervisor, you will be responsible for the leadership of the Triage unit, reporting to the Program Manager, ensuring that the Triage Case Managers and support staff function per company protocols as defined by the contracted performance standards, in addition to compiling QA reporting in compliance with the contracted performance standards. Additional responsibilities and duties include:
- Act in a leadership capacity to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Triage unit, assuring protocols, policy and procedure set-forth by Davies North America are maintained
- Train staff in job duties as necessary to ensure compliance with policy and procedure
- Responsible for the effective and proactive leadership of staff within the unit, including timely and effective performance management, monitoring attendance and other personnel-related functions – in conjunction with manager and HR
- In liaison with manager, address all service and/or quality related concerns to ensure all performance standards are being upheld
- Ensure staff is appropriately documenting in the system all data received from injured worker interviews, contacts and medical records
- Review Triage TCM work product on a regular basis to ensure work product is satisfactory according to all policy and procedure
- Responsible for all the metrics related to injured worker contact, according to the State of Florida performance standards, including system reporting
- Support the protocols, policies and procedures of Davies North America, and the contracted performance standards; ensure the team is engaged in the program’s vision/objectives; promote development identifying teammate potential to assign to projects or internal programs; promote a positive environment; support peers
- Utilizing initiative and following protocol, ensure that supervisory duties related to the customer- mandated performance standards and reporting thereof on a monthly basis as required to assist the Program Manager are done timely and effectively
- Maintain all required reports and logs for the QA of the Triage department
- Maintain patient privacy by ensuring that all medical records, case specific information and provider specific information are kept in a confidential manner, in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Serve on appropriate committees such as Grievance, Quality Assurance and others as directed
- Perform special projects and other duties as requested This role is a full-time, remote position.
Your Expertise, Skills, and Abilities
- Licensed RN with proof of State Licensure
- Previous supervisory experience, effectively leading and coaching a business department is preferred
- Minimum of one year of Workers’ Compensation case management experience
- Ability to maintain knowledge of current trends, standards and law changes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other various business software programs
- Other Skills and Abilities:

- Superior time management skills with capability of working with and meeting deadlines
- Exceptional capability to multi-task and prioritize with excellent organization and documentation skills in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

- Capable of working collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
- Exhibit discretion with sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
- Customer service orientation, with a track record of resolving client issues efficiently and effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through the preparation of reports and presentations for diverse audiences
- Proven ability to mentor and train team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
