Operations Department Mangaer

Due to our growth, we are seeking operations managers to join our Chicago Bike Share Operations Team! The Operations Manager is responsible for managing an assigned department and team daily. The ideal candidate should have previous management experience, experience managing budgets and labor allocations, an active driver's license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make in-the-moment decisions to meet and exceed team KPIs.

Requirements

• One to two years of previous leadership and management experience is required
• Previous experience managing department budgets and labor allocations is required.
• Experience motivating and leading a team to achieve department and company KPIs
• Experience working in a Unionized Labor Environment.

• The ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
• A “Let’s go” attitude through personal example; drive team inspiration by creating a profoundly positive and supportive culture.
• Strong understanding of IT solutions and app-based services to enhance operational processes.
• Streamline and optimize processes to deliver increased ridership and drive operational efficiencies. 
• A willingness to work in all weather conditions outside, year-round.
• The ability to perform assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Has reliable access to transportation to and from work.
• Possess a valid, active driver's license and a clean driving record.
• The ability to lift 75 lbs.
• The ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.

Due to the nature of the work performed by the company, team members may be assigned to perform duties outside their assigned responsibilities.
