Warehouse Associate

This role is a 6 month contract to hire with the compensation being $18-19/hr depending on experience
Receiving and Processing:Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.Verify shipment details against purchase orders and packing lists.Accurately document and report any discrepancies or issues.
Inventory Management:Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.Perform regular inventory counts and audits.Update inventory records in the warehouse management system.
Material Handling:Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.Load and unload trucks as needed.Transport materials and products to designated areas within the warehouse.
Safety and Maintenance:Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Conduct routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with team members and other departments.Assist with training new warehouse associates as needed.Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
