Executive Director, Origination NY Office

This position is for an the job as Originator and is based in the LMF Commercial New York office.  In this role, the person  is responsible for finding opportunities for LMF to make commercial mortgage loans for the intended purpose of a sale into securitization.  The Originator initiates contact with commercial real estate owners and mortgage brokers seeking first mortgage loans.  This position requires a self-starting, entrepreneurial person that can introduce LMF to new clients and possibly provide client coverage for preexisting LMF  mortgage brokers or borrower clients.  The position requires real estate knowledge of all property types and specific knowledge about the lending criteria associated with each property type as it relates to making loans suitable for Commercial Mortgage Backed securitizations (“CMBS”).  Additionally,  the position requires direct knowledge  of all aspects of the loan making process including, underwriting, processing, legal.  The person in this s role shall have experience directing internal and external people in helping to oversee the loan making process.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $170,196.40 - $207,147, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
