Position Overview
Members Development Company is seeking a strategic, experienced, and mission-aligned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial vision and execution of the organization. This executive role is responsible for financial forecasting, accounting, budgeting, and oversight of the company’s financial operations and investment returns. The CFO will also lead the development and structuring of partnership agreements and ensure the sustainability and growth of MDC’s revenue portfolio.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will work closely with fintech partners, credit union stakeholders, investment organizations, and internal teams to drive operational efficiency, strategic growth, and long-term value for MDC and its owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Provide strategic financial insight to the CEO and Board of Directors
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, policies, and reporting standards
- Accounting & Fiscal Operations
- Lead all aspects of accounting operations, including monthly/quarterly close, audits, and financial reporting
- Implement systems and controls to improve accuracy, transparency, and efficiency
- Revenue Oversight of Non Owner driven ARR
- Structure and negotiate partnership contracts and financial terms with fintech’s and vendors
- Manage and maximize returns on MDC’s revenue portfolio, including equity stakes, licensing, and royalty agreements
- Oversee all MDC investments, including markets, partners, and funds
- Strategic Business Guidance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial performance with corporate goals
- Support innovation initiatives by assessing financial implications and risks
- Team & Culture Leadership
- Mentor and grow the finance and administrative teams
- Promote a collaborative, transparent, and high-performance culture
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15-20 years of leadership experience, prior C-suite experience strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of budgeting principles, financial modeling, and business analysis
- Experience with revenue-based business models and MRR models, equity partnerships, or venture investing is a plus
- Proven success in negotiating complex contracts and managing strategic relationships
- Familiarity with fintech ecosystems or credit union environments is desirable
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills

Base Salary Range:
$163,800.00 - $304,600.00
