Primary Responsibilities
Main tasks:
- Coordination of the development of new devices and the maintenance of the existing series devices
- Project-related tasks:
- Creation and monitoring of project plans, including project reporting
- Planning and monitoring project costs
- System architecture for modification developments
- Leading the project team through the individual development phases
- Coordination of the resources used jointly within the R&D
- Initiation of material procurement for model and prototype constructions
- Coordination of sampling and material approvals
- Coordination of the cooperation with the departments: Purchasing / Service / Production / QM / Industrial Engineering / Regulatory Affairs / PM and with the customers as well as with external development partners
- Coordination and control of the creation and maintenance of the technical documentation
- Support of sales in project acquisition
General Tasks
- Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
- Implementation of the department and product group strategy
- Coordination with other project managers and FBLs on processes, interfaces and cross-sectional tasks
- Initiation and active participation in measures for synchro processes
- Active participation in the innovation process
- Participation in the annual budget planning and investment planning
- Strict compliance with quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations and implementation of the instructions from quality / environmental management officers and the specialist for occupational safety
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
- Dipl. Ing. Electrical engineering / medical technology / mechanical engineering / industrial engineer or equivalent
- Project management experience
- Development experience in a medically regulated environment
- Advanced use of the English language (GER-B2) *
- Knowledge of MS Project
- SAP knowledge (modules MM and PS)
- Proven successful completion of a development project with a project budget of at least EUR 300,000
- Quality-conscious, trustworthy and reliable
- Willingness to travel to all locations and business contacts
- Team-oriented leadership
- Goal-oriented communication skills
- Analytical, structured and systematic way of working
