Part time Research Scientist - School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems

Job Summary 

Dr. Kurtulus Izzetoglu is in search of a part-time research scientist to assist in a technical paper which will be submitted to a major journal.

Essential Functions 

• Analyzing bio-optical sensor data.
• Developing linear mixed effect models and conducting statistical analysis for clinical and bio-optical sensor data -Providing technical report and supporting journal preparation.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications 

• PhD or Doctorate.
• Experience not necessary.

 Other requirements 

• Extensive knowledge of bio-optical sensors.
• Advanced writing skills.

 Physical Requirements 

• Typically sitting at a desk/table.
• Typically standing, walking.

Location 

• University City – Philadelphia, PA  

Additional Information 

This is a part-time casual position classified as non-exempt. The pay offered is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
