Tutor Support Representative (Remote, Part-Time, Seasonal)

Learner Education is seeking a part-time, remote Tutor Support Representative to help match students with the right tutors. This entry-level position is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about education and can easily adapt to new systems and processes

Responsibilities:

• Review student profiles to understand needs and goals.
• Research tutor profiles to find the best matches.
• Communicate with tutors and manage responses via email.
• Schedule and confirm trial sessions between students and tutors.
• Track trial sessions from start to finish.
• Collaborate with Academic Advisors to ensure successful placements.
• Provide exceptional support to students and tutors.
• Conduct welcome calls for new tutors and build professional relationships.
• Maintain clear communication across teams.
• Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Empathetic and passionate about education.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with technology and adapting to new tools (Google Suite, Slack, ZenDesk, VOIP).
• Problem-solver with the ability to manage urgent situations calmly.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
• Open to feedback and committed to personal growth.

Requirements

• A basic understanding of the U.S. education system is preferred.
• Education, tutoring, or test prep experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must have a computer/laptop, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace.

Schedule:

• Friday & Monday, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Eastern
• Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 pm - 6:00pm Eastern

This is a seasonal remote position ending on May 31, 2026. Based on performance and business needs, there may be an opportunity to return for the Fall 2026 season

Compensation: $18 per hour

Benefits

• Holiday Pay: Part-time employees who have been with the company for six months or more are eligible for holiday pay if the holiday falls on a regularly scheduled workday. In these cases, employees may submit the average number of hours they typically work on that day, instead of a default of 8 hours.
  
• 401(k) Plan: Part-time employees are eligible to participate in the company’s 401(k) plan. Please note there is currently no employer match.
