The Senior Manager, Planning Consultation develops and oversees the strategy for workplace advice and planning customer engagement. Their team is responsible for engaging customers in personalized consultations to expand relationships and deliver valuable experiences. This individual implements an outbound and inbound consultation strategy to lead towards Empower’s growth goals. Successful leaders in this role show a deep desire to help customers and a passion for coaching consultants in developing their interactions. This is the perfect fit for outgoing and proactive leaders that want to build an organization from the ground up.
What you will do
- Drive high velocity, high impact team towards exceptional results characterized by deepened customer relationships and delivery of planning referrals
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance business growth, while supporting new initiatives, process enhancements, and team execution
- Coach a growing team to new levels of performance, while partnering across Empower Personal Wealth to funnel proper appointments to associates
- Lead through change management in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment
- Review and assure quality for consultant interactions in a supervisory capacity
- Ensure customer success through resolution of escalated issues, addressing and reducing errors, and achieving service level metrics
- Enhance your leadership and coaching skillset to progress your career through larger roles within the organization
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work
- 3-5 years of relatable industry leadership experience
- FINRA S7, 63 & 24 registrations required within corporate-established timelines. FINRA 65/66 permissible
- FINRA fingerprinting required

- Demonstrated success in improving performance results at the individual and team level
- Understanding of financial planning process and understanding of key engagement points to inject planner interaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication and consultation skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to learn new technology systems
