Senior Semiconductor Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

As a Sr Semiconductor Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure high-quality production and operational efficiency. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on advanced semiconductor tools.
You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager, and you’ll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on an On-Site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall productivity and reliability of our semiconductor manufacturing operations, contributing to the success of our technology goals and ensuring that we meet customer demands effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Document maintenance and repair activities accurately in maintenance logs.
2. Equipment Optimization:
- Work with engineering teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
- Participate in equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor process performance and recommend adjustments to improve yield and efficiency.
3. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all maintenance activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to resolve issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members to share knowledge and best practices.
5. Training and Development:
- Participate in ongoing training programs to keep skills up to date.
- Mentor junior technicians and support their development.

The annual base salary range for this position is Min $74,300 - max $111,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
- Associate's degree or a related technical certification in electronics, engineering technology, or a relevant field.
- Experience in semiconductor maintenance or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex semiconductor tools and systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and methodologies.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in semiconductor manufacturing.
