Reporting to the Head of Digital Engineering Operations, The Digital Engineering Operations Risk and Controls Manager plays a crucial role in managing and mitigating risks associated with digital transformation and technology implementations.
Specifically, the Digital Engineering Operations Risk and Controls Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and evaluate risks related to digital engineering projects
- Work with Devops teams and QE engineers to implement controls to mitigate identified risks
- Ensure that controls are properly designed and operating effectively
- Track, Manage and resolve issues and findings related to risk and controls in a timely manner
- Support a proactive risk and control culture within the organization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Continuously monitor the control environment and report on the effectiveness of controls
- Analyze program-related data to identify emerging risks and trends
- Work closely with various teams to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into all aspects of digital engineering
- Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on risk and control processes
- Works closely with IT and cybersecurity teams to identify and mitigate technical risks
- Provides regular updates on risk status and control effectiveness to stakeholders
- Ensures that risk management is a key component of project planning and execution
- Provides insights and recommendations to executive leadership to align risk management strategies with business objectives
- Supports leadership in making informed decisions regarding risk appetite and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
