As a Unarmed Security Guard - Commercial Site in Covington, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. By remaining highly visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for tenants, visitors, and staff. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are essential, as you will be the first point of contact for many individuals entering the property. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries related to access control and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as needed during emergency response activities.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter potential security-related concerns and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
