A dynamic Compensation & Benefits Manager, who will report to our Director of People Business Partners and work alongside the VP of People to ensure all compensation and benefits initiatives meet the Company’s overall strategy. You bring best practices for the planning of global compensation, benefits and retirement programs that align with the company’s goals and competitive practices. You will own implementation for US specific programs and will partner with your People Team peers to support their implementation of strategy in international regions. You’ll maintain compliance with internal policies and government regulations, and report out regularly on our progress towards goals. What You’ll Do:
- Design global compensation and benefits strategies (including medical/dental and retirement) that align with the company’s overall goals.
- Administer US benefits programs, including support of annual open enrollment.
- Work in partnership with international People Team colleagues to ensure global benefits strategy is administered regionally.
- Oversee retirement programs for various levels of employees; this may include profit sharing, 401(k), and nonqualified executive deferral plans.
- Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the current legislation and pay equity
- Participate in compensation surveys (Radford).
- Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data to ensure we offer competitive plans.
- Maintain the internal compensation ranges and job catalog.
- Provide People Business Partners, Recruiting and hiring managers with job analyses and classifications, ensuring new roles and promotions fall within our compensation bands.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee compensation and benefit programs.
- Manage the annual compensation review process.
- Maintain external benefit provider relationships.
- Assist employees with policies, processes, and programs.
- Work in partnership with other People Team colleagues (compliance and HRIS) to provide data for all compliance related filings and programs.
- Perform other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, accounting, business administration, or another related field is preferred.
- At least five (5) years of experience working as part of a corporate HR team with particular emphasis on Compensation and Benefits (including 401k programs) with two (2) years as the lead.
- Knowledge of building compensation packages and bonus programs for various departments and seniority levels.
- Experience in building and administering medical/dental/vision, wellness, and retirement programs.
- Proficiency with HRIS tools such as Workday.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables) along with experience using PowerPoint, Word, Zoom, and the ability to learn new software tools quickly.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Strong organization, project management, and communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels of the organization.
