Job Title: Power Platform Developer

Department: Operations – Services 

Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday – Friday 

Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week

FLSA Status: Hourly, Nonexempt

Clearance: Public Trust


Position Summary

The Power Platform Developer will design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including PowerApps, Power BI dashboards, and automated workflows, to support acquisition operations. The Power Platform Developer will collaborate with business stakeholders, program managers, and technical teams to transform acquisition data into actionable insights, automate processes, and improve user experience. This position is critical to advancing digital transformation, ensuring compliance with federal requirements, and providing efficient, secure solutions for acquisition lifecycle management. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the customer.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement PowerApps solutions to streamline procurement tracking and acquisition workflows.
  • Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor acquisition performance, compliance, and key program metrics.
  • Enhance SharePoint repositories for usability, integration, and document lifecycle management.
  • Build and maintain Power Automate flows to support data integration, task automation, and process standardization.
  • Provide end-user training, technical documentation, and ongoing support for developed tools and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and records management policies in all developed applications.
  • Collaborate with acquisition analysts and stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Power Platform applications to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Research and implement emerging Power Platform capabilities to enhance automation and reporting.
  • Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
  • Submit Monthly Status Reports on a regular basis, as required. 
  • Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Critical Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Experience developing IT solutions in support of federal procurement and acquisition processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to design scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, workflow design, and solution deployment.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online integration and database connectivity.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of IT development experience, with 3-5 years in Power Platform solutions.

Certifications, Licenses

  • Microsoft Power Platform certification preferred.

Special Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • DOD clearance, preferred. 

Work Environment

Employee will primarily work remotely in a professional home office environment with standard computer and communications equipment. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.


Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds.
