Position Overview
Natera is seeking an experienced Sr. Marketing Manager, HCP Marketing Oncology to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive awareness and integration of the Signatera MRD test into standard-of-care testing for solid tumor patients. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Oncology Commercial Marketing, this role is crucial in achieving the growth objectives for Natera’s oncology portfolio. The Sr. Marketing Manager will play a key role in ensuring that MRD testing is widely adopted for key indications, working closely with cross-functional teams to create marketing plans, manage sales collateral, and execute educational programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Plans: Develop and implement marketing strategies that reinforce the utility of the Signatera MRD test across multiple solid tumor indications, with a focus on recently Medicare-reimbursed and emerging coverage areas.
- Portfolio Expansion: Drive awareness and adoption of Natera’s full oncology portfolio, including comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP), hereditary cancer testing, and new MRD platforms.
- Sales Performance & Metrics: Monitor and analyze product sales performance, providing insights to key stakeholders and identifying opportunities to optimize marketing strategies.
- Collaterals & Digital Marketing: Manage the creation of high-quality marketing and sales materials, ensuring that field teams and digital channels are equipped with impactful content to engage healthcare providers (HCPs).
- Speaker’s Bureau Management: Oversee the speaker’s bureau, ensuring content reflects the latest clinical data and aligns with Natera’s strategic messaging.
- Educational Programs: Identify and manage third-party educational opportunities and marketing programs to increase engagement and influence within the oncology healthcare space.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences; an advanced degree (MBA or PhD) is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, field sales, or market analytics within the medical diagnostics, pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries.
- Experience in oncology and/or genomics is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with FDA-approved treatments for colorectal cancer is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to travel (~30%) for advisory boards, congresses, sales/marketing meetings, and customer visits.
