Job Overview:
QC Label Room Technicians are responsible for ensuring all product labeling meets company specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer standards. They manage, verify, and control label inventory while supporting production teams to reduce labeling errors, improve efficiency, and maintain documentation accuracy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely inspections of labels, packaging materials, and documentation
- Maintain and control label inventory to prevent shortages and ensure proper usage
- Print, verify, and issue labels required for production orders
- Complete quality and label room reports as required
- Verify label accuracy, including product codes, lot numbers, barcodes, and regulatory markings
- Identify and remove non‑conforming labels or mislabeled materials
- Assist with cost‑reduction efforts by monitoring label usage and reducing waste
- Support production teams by troubleshooting labeling issues and ensuring proper setup
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant label storage areas
- Meet production support timelines and departmental goals
- May be responsible for performing other related duties as required and assigned
- Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Work in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment; frequently exposed to hot or cold temperatures
- Work primarily indoors in an industrial setting, with occasional outdoor tasks
- Regularly exposed to loud sounds and high noise levels
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and write in English
Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings required
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motion for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
Good computer skills
Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
