Vice President of Land Acquisitions

LGI Homes is seeking a Vice President of Land Acquisitions for the Houston area.

The Vice President of Land Acquisitions will oversee the acquisition of residential lots and land, working to secure prime locations for future developments. This role includes negotiating and executing all contracts for land acquisitions, as well as underwriting each acquisition according to the company’s standards.

This position will also involve managing acquisition budgets, controlling costs, and recruiting, training, and overseeing additional team members as needed. Some travel may be required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Land Acquisitions will have over 5 years of relevant experience in the homebuilding industry, with a strong emphasis on land acquisition. A Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred. A valid driver's license is required.
