Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Merchant to support the development & execution of Vuori’s product assortment for the wholesale channel. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the execution of the brand product strategy and helping to support new growth opportunities across all categories. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the performance apparel space, Vuori’s mission and will embody the brand’s values. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide day to day wholesale merchandising support. 
• Assist with key meeting preparation, including but not limited to sample management, deck preparation, etc. 
• Build and manage the seasonal assortment tools and line sheets required for each account and wholesale specialty channel 
• Act as a liaison between the Product Merchandising team and the Wholesale/Sales team 
• Participate in all product milestones meetings to help represent the product needs of the Wholesale channel and ensure all assortment needs are met by the global assortment 
• Partner with Sales & Marketing teams to build the seasonal wholesale workbook, owning all assortment details and product information 
• Seasonally, deliver both pre-line and final product presentations to both Majors and key accounts 
• Support wholesale team in seasonal Sales meetings 
• Travel to key accounts and tradeshows as required for line showings and product presentations 
• Partner with Majors Account Manager to review sales performance of key accounts to identify in-season assortment opportunities 
• Manage communication of all assortment changes and updates to Wholesale team 
• Support the Planning team with all assortment related needs during seasonal buy review process, including the ownership of the wholesale line list and management of style and color level details 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree  
• 0-2 year product management or merchandising experience   
• Performance apparel experience preferred  
• Must be organized, attentive to detail, and able to multi-task 
• Strong communication skills  
• Strong analytical skills  
• Proficient in Microsoft (Excel) and Adobe Suite (Illustrator)  
• Ability to travel domestically when necessary  
• Candidates must live in the San Diego area or be willing to relocate 

Additional Information

Pay Range: From $65,000 - $75,000
