Position Summary
Harness Certifications enable software developers, platform engineers, DevOps administrators and cloud architects to become Harness Certified Experts. The approach behind these certifications is to ensure that candidates can easily acquire the technical breadth and depth necessary to master the Harness Software Delivery Platform, followed by rigorous testing of this acquired knowledge in a proctored, hands-on examination environment. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end program of creating, implementing, launching and measuring the success of all Harness Certifications. You will collaborate with product education engineers, sales engineers, solutions architects, technical writers, product managers, implementation partners and other Harness technical experts to achieve this goal.

About the role

  • Own the end-to-end delivery process of new and existing certifications
  • Define, operationalize and track the steps necessary to launch a new certification as well as update existing certifications through the beta and GA release phases
  • Manage the interaction between stakeholders by identifying priorities, defining cross-functional milestones, and coordinating schedules
  • Own systems for project documentation, status tracking, portfolios, dashboards and communication between stakeholders to ensure delivery and overall program health
  • Lead exam-candidate communication including automatic and periodic emails, blog posts, and announcements. Also gather feedback from candidates via social media, support tickets, and user interviews
  • Lead internal certification program enablement and engagement efforts by collaborating across R&D, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success

About you

  • A strong appreciation for the scaling process while remaining lean and efficient, thrive in a dynamic environment, and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years of experience in a Technical Program Management role driving cloud projects through the full software development life cycle
  • Knowledge of distributed software architecture
  • Proven ability to solve routine and complicated problems creatively
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, empathy for the needs of all stakeholders, and a track record of delivering projects
  • Experience in a rapid growth of the organization, working cross-functionally with teams delivering enterprise software
  • Strong bias for action and an intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Experience with assessment platforms (such as Caveon Scorpion), badging providers (such as Credly), technical learning platforms (such as Instruqt) , proctoring organizations (such as ProctorU), or similar is preferred
  • Comfort using learning management systems (such as Skilljar), content management systems (such as Confluence), task tracking tools (such as Asana), reporting (such as Salesforce Dashboards & Reports), calendars, collaborative spreadsheets, and other online collaboration tools
