Our finance team consists of a group of specialists who are entrusted with the critical responsibility of safeguarding and enhancing the firm's value. We excel at managing liquidity, capital, and risk while providing robust financial controls and reporting functions to support executive decision-making. Our collective efforts directly contribute to Kraken's ongoing success.

The finance transformation team plays a pivotal role in aligning with the finance organization's mission and objectives. We are dedicated to developing innovative and agile financial processes, promoting greater flexibility, resilience, and operational effectiveness. Our focus is on crafting transformation strategies that encompass end-to-end processes, resulting in the implementation of next-generation systems and analytical solutions to optimize finance operations.

We work closely with various departments within Kraken, including corporate development, business operations, product, engineering, HR, business systems, and all internal finance functions (accounting, tax, treasury, and FP&A). The Opportunity

The Finance Transformation team is looking for a skilled data analytics senior who will closely work with the Finance Data Analytics Manager to enhance the consumption of data and analytics to support the objectives of the finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a rapidly expanding industry and contribute to the building of the new financial system.

• Build dynamic data visualizations aid management decision support

• Perform data analysis and investigation related to finance use cases and liaise with cross-functional groups to resolve issues

• Ensure high data quality, integrity and auditability in the data analysis and reporting operations

• Build scalable and reliable data pipeline that collects, transforms, loads and curates data from internal systems and databases

• Augment platform data with data pipelines from select external and internal systems

• Support design and deployment of finance data lake that will be central source of truth for finance functions reporting and analysis needs
