About the Role

Hempel is seeking an Americas Strategy & Execution Manager to lead and accelerate the execution of our most critical business initiatives. In this highly visible role, you will partner with senior leaders across the US, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and Argentina—and influence global decision makers—to translate strategy into action, driving measurable business impact for our Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) business. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong execution skills and the ability to align diverse teams across functions and geographies.

What you need to be successful in this role:

Strategic Planning & Development

  • Support the creation and execution of regional strategies aligned with global priorities.

  • Analyze customer, market, and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities.

  • Translate strategies into actionable roadmaps and initiatives across segments and countries in the Americas.

Execution Oversight & Program Management

  • Lead or support high-impact, cross-functional strategic projects.

  • Oversee timely delivery, resource coordination, and KPI tracking.

  • Partner with sales, marketing, operations, R&D, supply chain, and product teams to execute initiatives.

  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization.

Commercial & Market Support

  • Collaborate with commercial leaders on key account strategies, pricing, and margin improvement.

  • Ensure product portfolios and go-to-market strategies align with regional customer needs.

  • Deliver actionable competitive and regulatory insights to guide leadership decisions.

Stakeholder Communication & Change Leadership

  • Serve as liaison between Americas leadership, global teams, and in-country stakeholders across the US, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and Argentina.

  • Lead change management during implementation of new initiatives or organizational changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Chemistry, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, project execution, or commercial management.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects in a multinational or matrixed environment.

  • Strong business acumen with experience in strategy, commercial operations, or transformation.

  • Proficiency with digital tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, and CRM platforms.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish strongly preferred. Portuguese is a plus.

  • Ability to influence, lead, and simplify complex challenges across diverse teams.

  • This role offers a hybrid and flexible work arrangement. The office is located in Conroe, TX.
